Isaiah was a prophet, and his role was to confront people with God’s commands and promises. This did not make Isaiah a popular man. While doing a Bible study of Isaiah, the strong contrast of Chapter 34 and 35 produced the need to paint this piece. The message of the consequences of rejecting God or the blessings of walking with Him, had me draw a line down the middle of the paper to show the extreme differences that God explains in Isaiah. (That’s Isaiah in the middle of painting!)
