The book of Esther tells the story of a young Jewish woman being chosen by King Xerxes to be queen. Mordecai, Esther’s older cousin became a government official and stopped an assassination plot against Xerxes. At this same time, the Jewish people were in danger of getting completely wiped out BUT GOD, miraculously used Esther, in her new role as queen to save them from destruction. God prepared the place and opportunity, Esther and Mordecai chose to act. Esther, seized the opportunity, she was not paralyzed with fear.
