This is the story of the third group of people to return to Jerusalem. It tells of how Nehemiah led the people to rebuild the walls around Jerusalem and how the people renewed their faith in God.

The painting depicts the wall which Nehemiah built. For us, that wall can be any enormous task God asks us to do for Him. The bright light shining on the figure is a reminder that when God gives us our purpose He will also be with us to accomplish it. He will shine His light so that we can see each step of the way.
